The Year To Give Your All

March 23, 2021

Give God all

In preparation for 2021, I hosted my Purpose Planning Session (Virtual Style) and it was a blessing to me and the women who attended. What exactly is purpose planning? This is when we are intentional about seeking the Lord’s face BEFORE we start making any goals and plans for the year. This is when we carve out time to ask God what’s next? Lord, what would you have me change? Lord, where do I need to grow and stretch? Lord, what’s next for me as a parent, a spouse, in minstry?

Many times in our walk with the Lord, we go on cruise control. We stop exerting energy in the relationship because we start to take God’s presence for granted. The only way to know what God wants you to do is to ask Him. We can ask people all day, but ultimately, we need to ask the Lord who created us for direction and guidance. He knows the path He’s designed for us. I encourage you today to ask the Lord for wisdom and vision for whatever you might be wrestling with. Take some time to search the word of God concerning the situation.

Spend some time in prayer, praying and listening.

Then go out and do the thing the Lord tells you to do.

Actually do it.

During the Purpose Planning Session, I was clear with one thing. This is the year that the Lord will stop being AN option. This is the year that He will be the ONLY option. This is the year to hold on to Him like you never have. This is the year to seek His face for guidance and wisdom like never before.

If you missed the Purpose Planning Session, no worries. You can start your own by finding time to spend with the Lord in prayer. Ask him to show you what He wants for you. If you attended the Purpose Planning Session, go back to your notes and follow up. Ask the Lord to give you the stamina to finish strong. Ask the Lord for the stamina to push through until you fulfill what

Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, which you know not. “

James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

Lord, I want this to be the year I give you my all. I want this to be the year that I live in complete obedience. Give me wisdom to know what to focus on and how to do it. Give me the desire to always make you my TOP priority.

What are you asking God for this year?
